How to choose the best plan for you

First ask yourself if your designated family chef wants to worry about meal planning and cooking over vacation. If your answer is "no" then American Plan and Run of the Ranch have three meals per day included at a great price. If you plan on being very active then the Run of the Ranch is the optimum package for you. If you would like to cook some of your meals, Fisherman's Holiday would be your most advantageous package with only breakfast included (chuckwagon cookouts included on Mondays and Thursdays during the height of the season).

You have found one of the best vacation destinations in the Colorado Rockies! Now all you have to do is choose which plan is best for you & your family. Each plan has its own individual features. There is generally a three night minimum stay at Harmel's. There are discounts for 7 night stays and off-season visits and nightly rates for shorter visits. For all of our guests: you may start your vacation on any day of the week you wish, and you are always welcome to eat in our dining room.

All plans include Harmel's exclusive private fishing permits ($100 per day value) allowing you access into Colorado's finest Gold Medal quality, grand slam trophy fishery.

Example #1:You have a family of nine people; 6 adults, one 9 year old child, one 5 year old child, and one 2 year old and you have selected the Fisherman's Holiday Package. You would like our largest cabin, so we look under the category that reads 2Q and 2D. Cross reference that with 8 people (we do not count the 2 year old because babies 3 and under are free) for a rate of $70 per person per night. There are no children's discounts applied to Fisherman's Holiday (only AP and RR have the children's discounts) $70/person/night x 8 people = $560/night . We ask for a 30% deposit to hold your reservation.

Example #2: Your vacation allows you to stay for 4 nights. You have a family of 4, with 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 7-13yrs) and you have selected theAmerican Plan You would like a two bedroom cabin with 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. Look under the second category that reads 2Q or 1Q & 2T. Cross reference that with 4 people and you come to $135 per person. Then you would take 20% off for both of the kids for a price of $108 per child. The total per night cost for a family with these specifications would be $486/night. We ask for a 30% deposit to hold your reservation.

Example #3: You have a family of two people; one adult and one 8 year old child (ages 7-13 yrs) and you have selected theRun of the Ranch Package. You would like a one bedroom with one queen bed and a pull-out couch. Look under the category that reads 1 Queen. Cross reference that with 2 people and you come to $250 per adult and $200 (20% off) for your 8 yo = $450/night . We ask for a 30% deposit to hold your reservation.

*NOTE the Run of the Ranch package will be offered only during our on-season: June 15 through August 17. Likewise our nightly entertainment begins and ends on the same dates.

Weekly Discounts:

5% off for seven or more night stay for Fisherman's Holiday and American Plan.
10% off for seven or more night stay for Run of the Ranch.

Children's Discounts:

For ages 7-13 ~ 20% off, ages 3-6 ~ 40% off, 2 & under free
These discounts apply to Run of the Ranch and American Plan only.

Military Discounts:

10% for active military members

Off-Season Discounts:

15% off from May 15 through June 14 and August 18 through September 30.

In lieu of tipping a modest service charge of 15% will be added to our rates
Any additional gratuities for outstanding service are at your discretion
Combined taxes are currently at 8.5%
Pets are welcome with prior reservation at $10 per night or a discounted $65 per week
Please note: Check-in time is after 2:00 pm. Check-out time is before 10:00 am

Facilities that all of our guests are free to enjoy: stocked trout pond, outdoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, Fort Harmel teepee village and playground, business center, entertainment, recreational lounge with free billiard table, puzzles, games, cards, big screen TV with DVD/VCR, horseshoes, volleyball, croquette, BBQ fire pit areas, and hiking trails. Harmel's main complex and the saloon & back deck area are Wi-Fi compatible for your business and entertainment convenience. As a guest, your charge accounts are open at Harmel's gift shop, restaurant, saloon, spa, etc.. Just charge it to your cabin, payable upon checkout.
